REFUND AND RETURN POLICY

We want you to love what you buy from Bernelia. If something is not right, we
will make it right.

30-DAY RETURN WINDOW

You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return.

To be eligible, the item must be:
  - Unused and in the same condition you received it
  - In its original packaging, with all tags and accessories
  - Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

HOW TO START A RETURN

Email: support@bernelia.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
We respond within 24 hours with instructions.

Please do not send items back before contacting us. Returns sent without
prior authorisation cannot be processed or refunded.

RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

If the item is damaged, defective, or we sent the wrong product, we cover
return shipping entirely — you pay nothing.

If you are returning for any other reason (changed your mind, ordered the
wrong size, did not like it), return shipping is your responsibility.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where the item was
damaged, defective, or incorrect.

DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Inspect your order upon delivery. If the item is damaged, defective, or not
what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with:

  - Your order number
  - Clear photos of the item showing the problem
  - A photo of the shipping label and packaging

We will send a replacement or issue a full refund at no cost to you. In most
cases you will not need to ship the item back.

REFUND TIMING

Once your return is approved (or your claim is resolved), your refund is
issued to the original payment method within 2 business days.

Please allow an additional 5–10 business days for your bank or card issuer to
post the refund to your account. This timing is controlled by your bank, not
by us.

We will email you the moment the refund is issued.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

You may cancel your order for a full refund at any time before it ships.
Email support@bernelia.com with your order number as soon as possible.

Once an order has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled, but you may return
it under the 30-day policy above.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

  - Gift cards
  - Items marked "Final Sale" or "Clearance"
  - Personalised or custom-made items
  - Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
  - Items not in original condition, damaged through misuse, or missing parts

EXCHANGES

The fastest way to exchange an item is to return the original for a refund
and place a new order for the item you want. This avoids delays while your
return is in transit.

COLOUR AND MEASUREMENT

Product photography is taken under studio lighting. Colours may appear
slightly different depending on your screen settings. Measurements listed are
approximate and may vary by up to 1 cm.

Minor variation of this kind is not considered a defect, but if a product is
meaningfully different from its listing, contact us and we will make it right.

EUROPEAN UNION — 14-DAY COOLING-OFF PERIOD

If your order is being shipped to the European Union, you have the right to
cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery for any reason, without
justification. The item must be unused, in its original condition and
packaging, with proof of purchase.

This right is in addition to the 30-day policy above.
